Refinancing Analysis

I am an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey, with an undergraduate degree in finance, and a master's degree in business and finance. I am not a mortgage broker, nor do I lend money.

During my twenty years of practicing law and prior to that in the financial industry, I have had the opportunity to work with countless lenders and borrowers. Clearly, the lender has a great deal of negotiating leverage, and the borrower has little or none. I have seen so many people make huge mistakes when borrowing money, particularly when it comes to refinancing or borrowing against their home. The vast majority just do not understand the true, long term cost of the transaction. So often, I have found that they are not making a good deal.

Using my years of experience in the field, educational background, and expertise, I will evaluate the loan you are contemplating, compare it to what you already have in place, and give you my opinion. My fee to do this is $200.00 through the Internet or $285.00 in person. If you still want to meet in person after I have already done the analysis through the Internet, the office visit fee is an additional $200.00.

If you will e-mail or fax to me the terms of your existing loan, and the terms of your newly proposed loan, which terms should be included in a commitment letter, along with your credit card billing information, we can get started.
